Ensuring that everyone's needs are met, Mavic's Athena family of women's apparel is incredibly thorough. At every possible temperature range in which you may ride this winter, Mavic has you covered. The Mavic Athena Thermo Jacket, for example, takes the insulation of the Athena Thermo Long-Sleeve Jersey one step further, making for the company's warmest winter-ready piece.
The cut of the Athena Thermo Jacket won't be unfamiliar to fans of the Athena range, however. Both flattering and functional, the jacket contours naturally into the cycling position without looking or feeling awkward off the bike. Made of a wind- and water-proof material called Warm Shell ST, the jacket moves and stretches extremely well, considering how well-insulated it is, and yet it's also very breathable so you won't overheat or get clammy underneath. The sleeves have zippered vents for keeping you cool when temperatures climb, inside or outside the jacket, and there's a zippered chest pocket to join the rear panel pockets to store all your essentials. Smart details like the Ergo Zip asymmetrical zipper saves your neck and chin a lot of irritation, and the Ergo Cuffs keep the jacket comfortably secured around gloves without creating pressure points.
The Mavic Athena Thermo Jacket comes in two colors — Chocking-X and Black — and in six sizes, from X-Small to XX-Large.
