  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I don't usually write reviews, but these really are some of the best shorts that I've ever ridden in. I am about 191, 5'11" with about a 34-35" waist and bought the large. I am a straight spandex rider and do not like mountain biking in baggies which these shorts are not. I have bought several different brands of riding shorts before trying the Kitsbow. I wish that I would have tried these first. They are made of a very high quality material and have really nice finishes.
Other shorts have started to stretch in the middle of rides, sliding down and catching on my saddle. I have worn several different styles of chamois and padding underneath the adjuster's and they all integrate wonderfully.. I usually wear bibs, but have been able to wear regular chamois protective shorts underneath and have been very comfortable. I didn't even notice that I was wearing the shorts until biting it on a crash and I appreciated the extra layer of protection. The magnetic belt is also super duper..
With all this being said, fit is very subjective but with Backcountry's incredible customer service and return policy you really can't go wrong. I would highly recommend that you give them a try.
