Ibis Mojo HD3
Actual weights are measured in-house by the Competitive Cyclist team.
If you have a HD4, HD3 or a Mojo 3 you need this guard if you don't already have one.
Riding inherently throws up debris from the front tire and if you want to keep your bike looking like new this will help do that. The guard has a bit of foam on the inside that helps keep it from wiggling around on the frame. Uses the bolts that came with your bike originally to affix it to the frame.
I ride my bikes pretty hard, I'm also pretty vigilant with it comes to making sure I keep my bike working and looking flawless. The down tube protector for the HD3 is a must have to ensure the protection of your frame from rocks and sticks banging into it.
Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This molded guard will help protect your HD3 downtube. There is a thin layer of foam, on the side that contacts the frame, to help protect it. It is bolted on. It would have been nice if this downtube guard came with the frame purchase instead of as a separate item to purchase after. SM/MD fits small and medium frames and so forth.
