Do they come with tubeless tape and valves?
Ibis 738 - wider is better
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I put the Ibis 738 rims on my 2016 Santa Cruz Bronson. That rear triangle will not accept much larger than a 2.5 Maxxis Minion rear but the front will allow the Minion 2.8 easily and I love having the big 2.8 front tire. The wheels that came with my Bronson had better hubs and so I considered having them rebuilt with the 738 rims. In the end that was going to cost more than buying these complete wheels on sale so I went this route and so far I am very happy, plus it is nice to have the other wheels as back-up. I have about 10 rides on them so far including two Moab trips which are never gentle. They mounted up tubeless easily and have held air perfectly. A few of my friends have purchased them since and they are also happy. I cannot speak to the long-term durability yet but initial review is very positive.
Great mid price wheelset

These things came stock on my Ibis Mojo3, and I actually really enjoyed them. The bearings lasted a long time, and the rims were super strong and took many big hits without denting or pulling out of true. I used them with plus tires and the inner width really works perfectly with a 2.8 tire. Hub engagement leaves a bit to be desired, but they just work, and work well.

Do you have the non boost version of this wheelset? I see ibis has that sku.
