Next level!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Post ski, bike, run, climb, whatever. Make sure you add this to your recovery routine. The plethora of additional attachments makes sure that you hit every muscle just right. The addition of Bluetooth connectivity to the app, which you can pair with Strava, offers different recovery routines based on activity type and duration. So cool! The addition of swappable batteries makes sure you're covered even on the longest of off-grid recovery sessions.

So Powerful, So Quiet!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The Hyperice Hypervolt is the real-deal massage gun! It pounds your muscles but is significantly quieter than others I?ve tried. It has a great attachment kit - the rubber and fork are my favorites. Pair it with the app to maximize your training and recovery.

Hypervolt for the recovery win

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The variety of accessories that come with this Hyperice Hypervolt massage gun are perfect for getting every square inch of those sore muscles! Depending the day and what's aching will determine which one I use. The prong is perfect for the IT band and I love the cushion for the larger muscles. This device is easy to use and the larger handle gives you a little more leverage to really get deep into the problem areas. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking to up their recovery game and improve their performance!

Love at First Use

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Long gone are the days of crap foam rollers, expensive massages, and sore muscles. The Hyperice Hypervolt Bluetooth Percussion Massage Device is here to save your body. Before your first use, do yourself a favor and download the Hyperice app. The app provides a variety of routines, from pre-workout prep to post-workout recovery sessions, allowing your body to warm up and cool down properly. Combined with exercise, you'll find yourself experiencing better blood flow, looser muscles, and feeling better overall. I've used the Hyperice Hypervolt Bluetooth Percussion Massage Device plenty of times pre and post-skiing, as well as pre and post-pedals. It's a great, quick, and effective way to loosen up your muscles. AND it feels incredible. And if the cost has you questioning its worth, don't. Also, yes, actual massages are great, but the costs add up. Being able to use this on demand at home makes it worth every penny. As for the gun itself, it's one of the more quiet guns on the market compared to the Compex Massage Gun and the Theragun Elite. It has three settings based on your preference and needs. It comes with a variety of swappable attachments, though I'm pretty keen on the ball head for most uses. The handle feaures a soft, rubberized grip for comfort and allows you to get into those hard to reach places. The bluetooth connectivity allows you to pair it with the app and control the settings from your phone. Unlike some other products, it does not come with a carrying case, though you do get a little bag for the attachments to easily take them with you wherever you go. This massage gun will change the way you prep and recover for/from your active lifestyle. Do yourself a favor and elevate your recovery game.

Hyperice Hypervolt- Great recovery tool

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I was given a Hyperice Hypervolt Bluetooth Percussion Massage Device by Backcounty, but this review is my personal opinion. I’ve used the device for three weeks now, and I have been really impressed by the way it has helped my recovery during an intense training block. For context, I am a trail runner/mountain biker, and long (50K plus events are my preference). I run more than ride these days because I’m getting ready for Eastern States 100 in August. I’ve been running 60 plus miles a week with a fair bit of climbing. I also spend 4-5 hours a week riding my bike either solo on trails or with the family. It all amounts to a lot of wear and tear on these 48- year-old legs. I was psyched to get a chance to try out the Hypervolt, and I have been very surprised by how much it has improved my recovery. Last Sunday, I did a 20 mile progression run to cap off a 66 mile week of running. As soon as I got home and cleaned up, I joined my wife and son for some biking at the local skate park. Monday, I had 10 miles on the schedule. In the past, my legs have often felt a lot like garbage during a Monday run like that. Using the Hypervolt has made a huge difference. 10 miles clicked off with ease on Monday, and my legs have continued to feel great every day after using the Hypervolt. It comes with five different attachment heads that you can use to focus on particular muscle groups, and the Hyperice App offers great guidance for how/when/why to use them. The battery life is excellent, and it is not as loud as you might think it is given the power it packs. The device is not overly heavy, and the grip is comfortable. It’s easy to change speeds and attachment heads. The Hypervolt fits nicely in my running bag and the attachment heads come with a bag to help you stay organized. I highly recommend the Hypervolt for anyone who is looking to take care of their muscles. I’ve really noticed the difference since I started using it, and my wife (who is also an ultra runner) has really noticed the benefits from using it too.
