Sometimes, our schedules dictate that we can't get out for a ride until the afternoon. In the fall and spring, this is ideal, but in the heat of summer, it almost makes us not want to ride at all. Hincapie Sportswear understands this frustration, as evidenced by the super cool, super cooling Men's Power Bib Shorts.

The main body of the bib shorts consists of AT2 Force Lycra Power, a minimalistic synthetic blend that achieves a barely-there fell. This is hit with Schoeller's coldblack finish that reflects heat and provides a UPF protection of 50, so you'll shrug off the sun's heat and potentially harmful after effects. The panels that sit between you and the saddle are ABR Resistor Lycra, which—contrary to popular belief—is not a futuristic robot villain. Rather, it's a fabric with a durable nylon face and a wicking polyester lining.

For the insert, Hincapie opted to use the Pro Chamois. The Pro Chamois' four-way stretch means it moves with you, not against you, and the Perineal relief channels keep the pressure where you want it and not where you don't. The brushed microfiber fabric is perforated for ventilation and breathability, and it houses double-layer, multi-density foam that absorbs bumps and road noise to keep you comfortable for up to six hours in the saddle.
