Wow. I am super impressed with G-Form.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The time had come where I needed some good protection for BMX racing. I figured if G-Form was good enough for the Olympic gold medalist (Connor Fields and Mariana Pajon) then I should go with them as well.
Love the technology implemented and the strategic placement of the pads in the vital areas. In the past, I used protection that was just too bulky and restrictive. You can easily wear this protection under your race jersey and pants without hindering range of motion.
The sizing chart was spot on and everything is very form fitting. The elastic bands on the pads really stood out to me. They are strong and don’t get loose during riding. Everything stayed in place the way it should be.
I have not crashed yet while wearing this product but already I feel more confident and barely notice that I am wearing it during a race. Five stars all the way. Great products and well worth the price.

What about the Spine????

After seeing these at a bike shop in Moab, I ordered one. Out of the box they seem comfortable. This is very important to me - if they're not comfortable, I know I won't wear them. My only concern/complaint is that there isn't any protection for the spine. I broken collarbone stinks, trauma to the spinal column can paralyze you for life. If they put the same protection down the spine as they did elsewhere, I would highly recommend these. In G-Forms defense, these aren't advertised to protect the spine.

The way the shirt is currently made, I would highly recommend it, but only for face plants and supermans :)

    Cool product

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL

Its a cool product and definitely fills the need but unfortunately it runs small even in XL size and I had to return the item because of that.

    Protection where you need it

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a good option for those all out rides on rocky trails. Good coverage for the shoulders, clavicle and sternum. NOTE- go a size larger if you're muscular build. I'm 6'0", 192 muscular build and the Large was too tight in chest, under arms.
