FR Enduro Protector Hydration Backpack
Designed for remote backcountry trails and grueling enduro races, the Evoc FR Enduro Protector Hydration Pack provides essential back protection, plenty of room for all your riding gear, plus a comfortable carry system. It's based on Evoc's Trail Pack, but its sleeker design reduces bulk on long climbs, which are already a sufferfest without even wearing a pack. Three-liter reservoir capacity (reservoir not included) ensures you're hydrated on the longest rides where thousands of feet of climbing and descending are common.
Because technical trails and enduro courses often have nasty consequences for missing your line, Evoc integrates a certified protector into the rear panel that disperses crushing blows otherwise transferred to your back and spine. This certified back protector remains lightweight and flexible, so you don't feel like some armored knight on the trails or suffer from a loss of essential motion. It's complemented with padded, ergonomic straps, plus a large hip belt and adjustable sternum strap for a steady fit across rugged trails.
- Trail workhorse upgraded with essential back protection
- Lightweight, streamlined design tailored for stable comfort
- Certified back protection disperses forces from a crash
- Back protector remains breathable and flexible as you ride
- Carries a 3-liter hydration reservoir (not included)
- Wide tool compartment for making repairs on the trail
- Ergonomic, padded shoulder straps and wide hip belt

Ok, But Room For Improvement
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
There are a few things I like about this pack such as the general look and styling of it, overall fit, non-bulkyness of it. But I think it would be better if the waist strap was the same width as the buckles as it feels a bit like what I imagine a girder would feel like and it really makes you sweat. It would be nice if there was a half-way decent place to put a cell phone. The top compartment isn't as the phone just sloshes around in there and is difficult to reach. I would rather see one of the stretchy sleeve pockets on both sides of the pack actually have a zipper and be fleece lined for a cell phone. I probably would have chosen a different pack had I thought about these things more. In the end, it's just a cool looking average pack with an above average price tag.

Everything you need
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is by far my favorite biking pack that I own. It fits everything you need and more, but isn't too bulky or in the way. The helmet pouch is a nice touch, and the huge velcro waist straps really secure the pack close to you to take full advantage of the spine protector. I use it on resort days for downhill as well as distance rides to your favorite singletrack.
