Insurgent-LS MX GX Eagle i9 Mountain Bike

Whether where shredding the bike park or taking on enduro courses at mind-melting speeds, the Evil Insurgent-LS elicits fear in every obstacle on the trail, making quick work of rough and raw terrain. This beastly bike is equipped with 168mm of DELTA rear suspension supported by a Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate shock to soak up all of our questionable line choices and impulsive sends. The gravity-eating geometry features a super slack 63.5 or 64.2-degree headtube angle, depending on which setting we put the flip-chip in, for unreal stability at speed and a steep enough seat tube angle, allowing us to comfortably pedal along the flats and climb up transfer stages when a shuttle or chairlift isn't part of the equation. Evil gave the Insurgent a Lightly Salted update by integrating the shock spacers into the linkage for easy maintenance and adding a SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger so that a sideways rock smash doesn't end our yearly bike trip.

The spec on this specific Insurgent-LS MX build is built to be a bombproof and burley steed ready to take on big mountain enduro races and long days at the bike park. The fully capable SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain handles the shifting duties and delivers reliable shifts no matter how nasty the trail conditions get, while a pair of 4-piston G2 RS brakes give us plenty of stopping power to get our bike under control on gnarly descnets. This version of the Insurgent-LS is designed around a mixed wheel setup to deliver the strightline speed of a 29er and whipability of a 27.5-inch in the rear. A RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork with 170mm of travel makes the Insurgent the equivalent of a bike park battering ram, and a pair of Industry Nine Enduro S rims get laced up to top-of-the line Hydra hubs for nearly instantaneous engagement no matter our line choice.
