Own the race course.

Designed for virtually any condition, the Donnelly MXP Tubeless Tire maximizes versatility for cyclocross racers encountering everything from moderate mud to grassy fields, hard-packed dirt to smooth pavement. This tubeless-ready tire sits at 33-millimeters wide, allowing you to drastically drop tire pressures for greater traction and bump compliance, regardless if you're cross racing or just putting in some training miles on your favorite stretch of back road.

This all-around cyclocross tire features a more classic tread profile, except for a few modern updates like precise flex grooves along the center for course-conforming grip, alongside aggressive side knobs for added stability and acceleration out of corners. The softer rubber compound readily grips to off-road surfaces, as well as adding a bit of cushioning from harsh terrain. It's reinforced with Aramid along the casing, so it's not as prone to punctures from road debris and rough surfaces.

  • All-conditions cyclocross tire for racing and training
  • Tubeless-ready casing allows for running at lower pressures
  • 33-millimeter width gives you off-road traction and grip
  • Precise flex grooves down center with aggressive side knobs
  • Softer rubber compound grips well and softens harsh terrain
  • Reinforced with Aramid for extra protection from punctures

Once it's on...

I've used it several times

I wanted to hate these tires at first. They took so much effort to get on my rim that, aside from the blisters (which I've gotten from many tires), I actually stretched out the rubber and the tires had a massive warble once they were on. I was able to stretch them back to reduce the warble without much effort, but it's still noticeable. That said - these tires still work just great. I set them up with tubes at first and they were fine, then I set them up tubeless. Thankfully, mounting them a second time after they were broken in was much easier and I didn't stretch them out again. Goes without saying that tubeless is the way to go with these. They ride relatively effortlessly on the road even down to 25-30PSI, and they are bomb on gravel, dirt, deep mud, etc. In just a couple rides I took them through the wringer and they grip well and climb up steep, jagged hills with no issues. Seriously - put some power into it and your front tire will fly off the ground before these things lose any grip. I use them on a 2015 Trek Crossrip on Vuelta CX rims with Orange sealant, and after a great deal of abuse they haven't lost air so far. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could but they'd be a solid 5 if not for the initial stretch during mounting.
