Following the success of its fantastic Siberian gloves, Craft set out complement them with the creation of the Craft Active Bike Siberian Jacket.
To the touch, the Siberian jacket isn't as heavy as you'd expect it to be, given its name. That's because Craft is a company that thoroughly believes in base layering for proper cold-weather protection. In other words, Craft won't produce a jacket that can solely cross tundra, but the Siberian makes a great protective layer if that's the plan. The jacket is made from wind- and water-repellant polyester fabric that locks out the elements, but retains stretchability for a comfortable range of motion on the bike, including while down in an aggressive riding position. The interior of the jacket is a soft-brushed polyester fleece that not only insulates well, but serves to rapidly evacuate moisture from the skin to keep you comfortable and not stuffy if the ride gets rigorous. There are reflective elements all around to provide 360 degrees of visibility when the sun goes down, and on the lower back has a zippered cargo pocket to carry your essentials.
The Craft Active Bike Siberian Women's Jacket comes in five sizes, from X-Small to X-Large, and in two colors schemes: Black/bright red and Hibiscus/black. Depending on your layering, the jacket can comfortably accommodate you down to temperatures in the 20s (Fahrenheit).
