The 3-ply Ultra Race Tire provides the grip you expect from a race tire, while the 60tpi casing offer puncture protection you would expect from a much heavier training tire. Continental's SafetySystem Technology incorporates super-strong, KEVLAR®-reinforced nylon fabric into the carcass of the tire, allowing for added protection against road debris and glass?unfortunately you can't use the 'I got a flat tire' excuse when you show up late for dinner.
