P-Series Rival eTap AXS Road Bike

The P-Series Rival eTap AXS Road Bike is thankfully the fastest it has ever been because we're ready to get out, get after it, and set our new PR. This is a bike for the athlete who values speed above all else, and who is serious about reaching new personal heights in their world of cycling. The P-Series is a descendent of the P3, but it's lighter and more aerodynamic, and therefore faster on all counts. But, aerodynamics and weight are only the start of what makes this bike great. With the P-Series, Cervelo finds the ideal balance of integration, comfort, and aerodynamics. This makes for real improvements that allow athletes to optimize their performance and reach their absolute potential. It's the little details Cervelo has paid attention to that pushes the P-Series to the front of the pack, and we appreciate the overall power, stiffness, and strength this bike provides. With a full carbon layup, Cervelo combines material and shape to engineer the desired stiffness of different parts of the frame. In particular, the optimized stiffness of the bottom bracket increases torsional stiffness. This makes for smooth handling at top speeds and even faster acceleration for, as Cervelo claims, "no wasted effort." We all know that the cause of most drag is the rider, but that means our bike should be as aerodynamic as possible to offset this case. Cervelo tested the P-Series just like they tested the P3. In the wind tunnel and on the road, the P-Series performs like no other with the result being less drag and more speed. According to Cervelo, it's 26g faster than the P3 bare, and 18g faster loaded. We also want to draw attention to little details like the extended seat tube cutout. It's a close-fitting curve in the seat tube, and it shields the leading edge of the rear wheel. This creates wind-slicing capabilities that we benefit from on our ride. All that speed is still designed with customization in mind, though. Flexible storage options and usable mounts allow us to dial in a personalized set up to achieve our fastest results in the most efficient way possible.
