CastelliClimber's 2.0 Full-Zip Jersey - Men's
Item # CSTZ79L
Climber's 2.0 Full-Zip Jersey
Built light for those epic days with lots of climbing and heat, you can count on the Climber's 2.0 Full-Zip Jersey from Castelli to keep you cool. It doesn't ignore aerodynamics either thanks to its patterning that's similar to the Aero Race 5.1 Jersey, so you end up with a jersey that's cool and light, and it's no wonder that it's a favorite among its sponsored riders. The biggest surprise with this jersey is that it posts aero drag values just 2 watts slower than the Aero Race 5.1 jersey.
Castelli uses its lightweight StradaPro 3D polyester and Flusso 4D mesh to make the jersey as breathable as possible when you're riding on hot, energy-sapping days. The whisper-thin fabrics keep sweat moving off your skin so you stay as dry and cool as possible while climbing. Its next-to-skin fit feels tight when you're wearing it off the bike, however, Castelli kit is known for being tight across the chest and shorter in length than other brands, and it will all make sense when you're tucked into a riding position and the jersey falls in place to follow your every body movement in the saddle.
- The lightweight aero jersey for warm days with plenty of climbing
- Strada Pro 3D fabric on the back provides pocket support
- Flusso 3D fabric on the front and shoulders keeps things light and dry
- Full-length lightweight front zipper quickly dumps heat
- Mesh raw-edge arm grippers sit comfortably against the skin
- 3 rear pockets haul ride essentials
- Patterned after the Aero Race 5.1 Jersey for a boost of aero
- Reflective heat-transfer viz strips increase visibility in low light

Beautiful jersey but impossibly small
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- L
- Height
- 5` 9"
- Weight
- 160 lbs
I love the design etc. of this jersey but it is simply impossible to understand the fitting charts as applied to this product. I'm a slim 5'9'' 160 and this L. jersey was impossibly snug. I'm sorry to return it but a L would fit someone perhaps 5'4 and 130# - maybe a race jockey. Ugh!

More fit advice
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- Large
- Height
- 6` 2"
- Weight
- 162 lbs
I love Castelli jerseys but the fit is not for everyone. Just to help out those still contemplating: I am 6’ 2” and 161lbs. I have a 39” chest. The large is a snug but not too tight fit. I imagine the XL would be too loose, and I prefer a close to skin fit. Hope this helps other tall skinny guys out there!

WAY too small
- Familiarity:

I did see that these jerseys run small, so I ordered a large (I also have another Castelli jersey that is a large), this jersey feels a size smaller than the current large that I have...size up twice. I am returning and and getting an xl (I'm 5'7")

If you’re a ‘medium’ order an XL. At least. I don’t regret it though. Happy to trudge to UPS for the return. It’s one of the more beautiful jerseys I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to get the new one

Perfect summer jersey
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- L
- Height
- 5` 10"
- Weight
- 175 lbs
This jersey is my go to for summer rides (I have 4 of them). Very ventilated and comfortable. I’d say it runs one size larger than the aero race jersey. As someone who appreciates a snug jersey, I’d probably go for the medium knowing how it fits.

Picking the right size...
- Fit:
- Runs small
- Size Bought
- 3XL
- Height
- 5` 9"
- Weight
- 190 lbs
If you would normally wear a L in a jersey, then order a 3XL. Even then, you'll find the cut of some jerseys a bit snug especially if it states the item is form fitting.

Ive only found castelli to be one size off...maybe it’s the cut and fit and not the size you are talking about. I wear medium most brands and large castelli.

Runs quite small.

I don’t know what kind of person this garment is sized for but it’s waaaaay too small. Strongly advise getting one size larger than you normally wear with any other garment on the planet

Some fit advice. This is a pro level race fit jersey. Meant to be worn so that when riding the wind does not pick up or move the fabric at all. It sounds like you are looking for a "club" fit jersey with a more casual fit aimed at comfort rather than aerodynamic gains.
