Autumn is one of our favorite times of year, with brisk afternoons filled with cozy sweaters, soft scarves, delicious mulled cider, and a new opportunity to perfect our cold-weather cycling kit strategy. When mornings get frosty and the temperatures turn chilly, stay warmly on point in the Castelli Women's Chic Tights.
These tights are fashioned from stretchy, warm Thermoflex fabric, which holds a starring role across Castelli's cold-weather line. Thermoflex's brushed, fleecy lining fends off the cold with cozy warmth and wicks moisture without irritating your skin. At the knees, Castelli uses an articulated shape and adds a second layer of fabric for extra warmth, and the KISS Air chamois affords enough comfort for all your long-mile, winter training needs.
The fit is snug and streamlined, making them ideal for both training and racing in cooler conditions, with inconspicuous branding that blends in with any colorway of kit. Castelli recommends these tights for use between 41 and 59 degrees Fahrenheit, but you may find them useful in a wider range of temperatures depending on the day's planned intensity.
- Warm tights for chilly rides
- Stretchy thermal fabric provides breathable warmth

Have worn these many times since the cold set in. (NY) Ride 4-5X/wk, vary between these, castelli wind proof& pearl I. The pearls are great for 55 degree days, these are good for 40-55& the wind proofs are for blustery frigid days. They fit a bit short in the front, but tolerable, if you like high rise bottoms- these are only a bit high in the back, a bit low in the front, if I designed these I would have given the back & front another inch or so. I like the compression, I don't like loose bottoms,& they are comfortable for the long haul. I like the red accents but have yet to really understand the knees. Articulated, sort of, double fabric, ok, I guess. Overall these are not made for tall women, the length just makes it for me at 5'6". Overall castelli makes terrific stuff, only disappointed once with see through knickers (!). Have 6 castelli bottoms,& usually reach for them first. Want to be really impressed during the winter- go for the wind proofs- they are amazing. A word about sizing- I always wear small or xsmall bottoms, like them tight& hate when the nose of my seat catches on a loose fitting chamois. I wear xsm in pearl. Sm in castelli, they fit sleek, so If you don't like tight tights- go up a size. Castelli chamois tend to be a bit big, would like if it was a bit sleeker.
