If you've ever spent way too much time and expended far too many CO2 cartridges trying to seat a tubeless mountain bike tire with a floor pump better suited for skinny, high PSI road tires, you'll appreciate the utility of the Blackburn Chamber HV Floor Pump. It trades a low, 50 PSI/3.4 Bar max pressure for massive air volume to make quick work of airing up those knobbies, and its four-inch gauge lets you know exact pressures in both PSI and Bar measurements. Small touches such as a 47in hose for extra reach, a durably oversized main body, a hose keeper, and an alloy cap and lever on the pump head make this floor pump a lasting, convenient addition to your collection.
- Convenient floor pump designed for tubeless tires
- High volume air stroke seats tricky beads
- Large, easy-to-read pressure gauge
- Compatible with Presta, Schrader, and Dunlop valves

Not what I expected

The description made me think that this pump would be good for use with my tubeless tires. This is not the case. It it like all the other pumps I own but with a lower max PSI. Definitely not worth the purchase. I will be returning this immediately.

THE best pump for mountain biking
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This pump is awesome, a total game changer. We dirt bike and mountain bike and the only pressure we need to go up to is 30 so why have a pump that goes up to 120 and makes it difficult to dial in your pressures. You can dial in you tires pressures exactly how you want them. The only negatives I would say is that the pump is quite large if you are always going to have one in your vehicle and that the camo is a bit obnoxious, I wish they would also make a black one. But for mountain biking this pump is the best out.

This pump BLOWS! ;)
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Need a solid pump for your mountain bike? Tired of seeking out an air compressor every time you need to seat your tires? Do you want to hide your pump in the woods and not let anyone else see it? This pump is right for you! Seriously, this pump makes seating tires a breeze. With less then 10 pumps, I can normally be seated with nearly 30psi in my tire. The oversized gauge is also very nice!

Worked well for 3 months
- Familiarity:

I bought this pump at the end of June 2018 and have used it about 3 times per week. I went to use it this weekend and when you connect the hose to the valve stem, you can hear air rushing out of the base of the pump. I was stoked on this pump until it broke so early in its life. Hopefully Backcountry is able to make it right for me. 2 stars for now.

Mine does the same. This is my 2nd. The guys were great about sending me a new one when the first one failed. Now this one is leaking at the base. Have to get it disconnected rapidly so as not to lose your pressure. Frustrating. I'm done with this one.

Great pump!
I love the large gauge on the front and the fact that the pump works faster than the other pumps that i've had. In addition, there is a button on it which releases air if you pump up too fast. Bonus - bottle opener!

The best mountain bike pump. Period.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Love this pump! The gauge only goes to 50 so you can dial in your pressures just right. Seems to be built like a tank and air hose connections and pressure release valve are very nice. Only drawback is that it only comes in this camo color and is a little on the large side but as far as I know there's no other pump like it. If you mountain bike for reals you should def get this pump.

Awesome for Plus Size Fat Tires 2.8 -5.0
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Fat tires are hyper sensitive to PSI and this is an ideal pump for 2.8 to 5.0. My 650b 3.0 mountain bike tire's are sensitive to 3 PSI and my fat bike 26 4.8 tire's are hyper sensitive to 1 PSI. These PSI differences are enough to cause a tire bounce or pinch, both are bad riding experiences and can cause you to fall or have a miserable time. This bike pump will show you the difference of 1 PSI so you can really dial in the best ride. I have a normal bike pump too and although that works better on high PSI tires, this Blackburn pump is a way better tool for mountain bike tires under 40 PSI. The quality appears that it may last 30+ years. As for bike pumps, I don't care how ugly it looks, but this one does look cool. Yes, we have gotten to a place in time where you actually need two different types of pumps.

Pump It Up
- Familiarity:

This is the ideal bike pump, the high volume chamber makes tubeless set up a breeze and the pressure gauge ensures my tires are always dialed to spec. The bottle opener and camo colorway are added features I enjoy.

Great pump
This pump was surprisingly high quality. Very sturdy and doesnât seem cheap in any way. There is one thing that Iâve noticed that isnât really a big deal, but I feel like it could be improved. It is kind of hard to to get in on the valve sometimes and so the air doesnât want to enter the tire. Besides that, fantastic pump. The giant gauge is awesome.

Nice Pump

One of the most reliable fastest-pumping pumps I've ever used. Can't see any reason to switch to something else. Did I mention the bonus bottle opener?

Great Pump
This is one of the best I've had. It's easy to read from a standing position and lightweight enough to pack with you if you must. So glad I have it and the price was great for the quality!

Beefy

Great bike pump, the best one I've used to this date. Less pumps for weak chumps! The dial is also huge and easy to read. It's also got a beer bottle opener for those days working on the bike, what else could you ask for?

High volume makes your triceps happy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Most of the bike in my quiver are no narrower than 2.1 so why I didn't get this pump before is beyond me. I was using a high pressure pump meant for road bikes on all these and really getting a tricep workout each time. I'm all for multi-tasking, but it seemed like an efficient pump would make my life easier. This one has been perfect so far! Love the large gauge and the air release valve to really dial in the pressure on my plus and MTB tires. Bottle opener is a nice touch. I did try to set up my new wheels tubeless using it with no luck. That could be the tire and wheel combo though. Highly recommend!

Great Pump
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have used this pump for the past month and it has been great. It is easy to use, attach and take off, and the gauge is super easy to read. It is on the more expensive side but it is worth spending a little extra so you do not have to buy another pump the next year.

Perfect Pump for MTB's
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Yes its expensive, but its worth it and I would buy another in a heartbeat. Huge gauge (good for people in their mid 40's ha ha) - perfect for dialing in the proper pressure. I use it on plus tires and standard MTB tires. Very solid feeling unlike many other pumps, very solid base, etc. Perfect for tubeless if you don't want to use an air compressor to seat the tires. Its a high volume pump. If running presta valves you will most likely need to flip the gasket in the head(easy to do). Best MTB pump on the market.

This pump is sweet
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I know what you're thinking... its just a pump, right? I bought this when i switched to a plus tire setup as I needed something that had a gauge that would give me enough detail to tell the difference between say 16 and 18 PSI. The gauge on this is huge, the base is really solid, the high volume chamber means that less pumping is involved, and to top it off, it comes with a bottle opener on it for post ride beverages. All things, considered, this pump is very reasonably priced for what you get.

I'll Drink To That.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought this pump to fill my tubeless tires. It worked...and it worked well. Previously I've used my best friend's motorized air pump, which works a treat. Recently I decided to come into my own on the mtn bike scene, and with this pump I didn't miss a beat. I'll admit, it was tenuous at first, but once I got it dialed in, it worked without fuss! TLDR. If you need a pump for a tubless set up, this one works damn well! It also has a bottle opener attached to it, so that's good.

The correct pump for MTB's
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Nice, large easy to read gauge. Large volume pump. Comfortable handle. The valve head is easy to use and seals well. The 'camo' paint job needs to go. But, that's just me being picky. Overall, this seems to be the best floor pump for low pressure tubeless tires.

Pure Mountain Bike Pump
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I recently broke my pump that I keep in my car for summers and after getting a chance to use this one I was sold. I love the fat chamber and the insanely giant and accurate gauge. PLUS....the handle can be changed out for any pair of handlebars one might have lying around! Bonus! Pics coming soon. Who knew a pump could bring so much happiness

It says HV, that means high volume. Why would you think it would be a high pressure pump...???
