When you're pushing your limits, you're going to take falls-- it comes with the territory. And thankfully, you can stay protected and stay comfortable with the Alpinestars Comp Pro Top. It's got the full range of protective features you'd expect, like spine protection and shoulder pads, and it's cut to fit close to the body, so it's not restrictive. After all, there's no point in wearing pads if they're so bulky that you don't want to wear them.
Alpinestars built the Comp top to protect your core from all manner of on-mountain mishaps. Like the chest and shoulder pads, the spine protector is a soft padded removable affair, and that means you can use it when you need maximum protection, and remove it for washing, as well as those days that you'd prefer some added ventilation. The spine protector employs kidney belt, which helps to stabilize your core against harsh impacts. And the whole top has an anatomic cut, which is patterned to move with your body, instead of bunching. All of the padding sits on a mesh shirt base, which takes advantage of strategically placed ventilation panels to keep your core temperature down on hot days. The result is low-volume protection that you'll barely notice you're wearing. At least until you take a hard fall, and remember why you put it on in the first place.
The Alpinestars Comp Pro Top is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large, and in the color Black.
