Mavic Espoir Bib Tight - No Chamois - Men's $99.95
Even if it isn't bitter cold outside, you'll be happier riding in the fall if your legs aren't shivering. The Mavic Espoir Bib Tights' full leg protection will have you wondering why you bought an indoor trainer.
The Mavic Espoir Bib Tights were constructed from Warm Tech fabric. Its soft, brushed interior wicks moisture away from the skin. Why is this important in the winter? Even when the air is cold, we still sweat. There is nothing less unpleasant than cold air against wet skin. Warm Tech keeps your legs dry and, in turn, warm. But, while you want to be warm, you don't want to overheat. Mavic used an open mesh fabric for the bib portion of the tights. This serves to further wick moisture away from your skin so you won't end up shivering with a sweaty torso.
Cut on a multi-paneled pattern which conforms to your legs, the bib tights feature a higher Warm Tech panel in the back which prevents skin exposure if your jacket rides up. The high waist, wide set straps and t-back are non-constricting.
These tights feature a silicone ankle grip rather than a zipper. Reflective highlights were added for visibility in low-light conditions.
While the Espoir tights function exceptionally well in the 32deg to 54deg range, if you find the temperature ducking below freezing, Mavic's Inferno Bib tights are warmer wind resistant tights.
The Mavic Espoir Bib Tights NC do not come with a chamois. This allows you to use your own shorts underneath . This also makes them perfect for Nordic skiing. The tights are available in sizes Small to X-Large in Black.
