Just what I was looking ...
Another excellent piece from Zoic! Simple design with a number of really useful features: just the right number of pockets, diamond gusset, hidden drawstrings and the cuffs and waist, two buttons + Velcro secures the waistband above the fly and useable belt loops.
A heads up: the hook part of the Velcro is aggressive (?) and will do a number on any Lycra it contacts.
Light fabric flaps around
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
These are OK. Although well made, the fabric feels too light to me and too baggy. They feel like pajamas. They flap around a lot when I ride, which I really don't care for. In comparison I much prefer the feel and function of the Club Ride products such as the Crush, Pipeline, etc so the Zoic Reign are gathering dust in the closet.
Great knickers, very comfortable
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Xl
Have ridden three times with these knickers and are very happy with them, comfortable and moisture wicking. Note that these don't have padding in them. Great price when on sale. Would buy again.
Do these have drawstrings or something similar to cinch the cuffs below the knees?
They do have a draw string for the waist and there is elastic draw strings in the cuffs.
Great for cycling
These a great knickers, they protect your knees from crashes, and keep you a little more protected on slightly cooler days. Awesome!
Well thought out
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
Bought these for my wife in Teal, mens small and she loves them. They fit her great , she really hates the way womens MTB
clothing is cut to fit. This is a well thought out 3/4 length pant that covers the top of your pads and she loves the look on and off the bike
Perfect Hiking Pants
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
Love these pants! For me, when it's a little humid/hot out; I don't like necessarily like hiking in pants, nor do I like shorts, so this is the perfect combo for me. You can call them manpris if you want, but I call them three-quarter pants to make myself feel more secure about wearing them, lol! But I love the extra pockets on the side for my extra gear and also having the option to either zip or velcro. I have had these pants for going on 3 years and have purchased 2 other pairs so I can have a variety of colors. They're by far my favorite hiking pants because they're so durable, versatile and can take a beating. For sizing purposes, I'm 6' 0" and 185 lbs with a typical 34" waist and a Large fits me perfect. Not too tight that they are uncomfortable and definitely by no means too loose that they're going to fall off. So if you like the look of the old three-quarter or as those that are jealous of us say; the manpri pant, and you can handle it... then buy them, you won't regret it!
