Navaeh Short + Essential Liner

The Women's ZOIC Navaeh Bike Shorts were built with one thing in mind—getting you out on the trail longer, farther, and fully comfortable.

The most important feature of the Navaeh Short is its chamois liner. The chamois, called the ZOIC Comfort, is a high-quality, multi-level, stretch chamois, and it cushions impacts and reduces vibrations in the saddle. While you may not even really feel these vibrations, your muscles do, and all that shock and vibration causes fatigue. The liner is also fully removable, so you can ditch it when you just need a casual walkshort. You can even wear the liner with other shorts to transform them from casual shorts to riding shorts.

The Navaeh Short's list of features doesn't end with its removable chamois liner, though—not even close. The whole body of the Navaeh is made with a stretch material that won't bind or limit your range of motion. The fabric also pulls moisture away from your skin to keep you dry and comfortable. A Fusion Gusset inseam further increases the short's range of motion and eliminates seat hang-ups. The Navaeh also comes with plenty of pockets—two front and two thigh—so you have plenty of room for your essentials. There's even a dedicated media pocket for your phone or MP3 player so you can enjoy your own soundtrack on the trail.

  • Lightweight baggies for long-distant trail rides
  • Breathable stretch fabric provides performance comfort
  • Removable liner and chamois offer all-day support
  • Generous length provides coverage over knee-pads
  • Smooth finish flatlock seams prevent chafing and hot spots
  • Adjustable waist offers versatile fit and function

Pockets! Tad too stretchy, broken zipper

Been wearing the same pair since Nov 2019. The front zipper just broke, for seemingly no reason, which is disappointing for a product this expensive. The shorts are otherwise still in good condition. The overshort is a bit too stretchy and sometimes catches on the front of the seat. The pockets are excellent for during and after rides - the thigh pocket easily fits a large cell phone. Plus you have enough space for snacks, sunglasses, whatever you need to stash. I am curvy in my hip and thighs, with a smaller waist. The chamois liner shorts fit really well, and the overshort fits well when I have the velcro tightened all the way. They don't gap in the back.

Best riding shorts EVER!!

These are amazing. The padded liners can be removed and shorts warn like regular shorts. SO GREAT! They are stretchy enough so I can wear leggings under the padded shorts and regular shorts, yet their fitted when I'm just wearing the outer shorts. This is the only riding shorts and pads I will ever use. I've tried to destroy these and they last forever!

These were just way too snug. I liked the fee, strech an ddesign however, compared to several others, it was just too snug. If they were road shrots, I would have kept them. The pockets weren't in a great spot to put anything in as the fit was just too tight. Perhaps a better short for someone with 10 less pounds or just not an athletic build as my thighs

Newb Mt. Biker LOVE THESE!

I've put it through the wringer

Get em! They are super comfortable. I appreciate the waist that can be resized very small. The shorts and liners fit my huge legs but the waist I can resize to be smaller. Just because my legs are big doesn't mean my waist is. The pockets in these are AMAZING! Super huge with multiple different sized pockets. I wear 'em every day. They clean up nice and dry fast.

Not So Happy with the Redesign

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I owned the previous version of the Zoic Naveah short + liner. I *loved* the outer short, so when my pair finally wore down after 5 years, I went for the same model. Well, turns out the design has changed since then. The fabric is stiffer, not as stretchy. It's probably a bit tougher than the older version, but I never had an issue with rips before, so I don't really see the benefit. The other major change I noticed is the side pocket design. It used to be pretty vertical, but now it is angled. I always keep my cell phone in my pocket to pull up Trailforks, take pics, etc. Not only does my cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) barely fit in the new pocket design, it is at the weirdest angle, like a 45 degree angle to my thigh. Combine that with the less forgiving fabric and and the shorts feel extremely restrictive. Still love the other design features of the shorts, like the adjustable waist, but with these two changes I just couldn't justify spending $85 on something that doesn't feel good while riding. I ended up returning these and buying the SheBeest Dirty Beest short, because these are more similar to the previous design of this short in both fabric (nicely stretchy) and in side pocket design (roomier, better angle). If you want a short that's not quite as stretchy but is durable, and don't care about the side pockets fitting a phone, then these will work just fine for you.

Great fit

First, the pockets are pretty great. Second, the fit is great. My thighs are big, but my hips are small, and the thigh space and the waist adjust give me a really good fit. They're also a good length for me, and I have kind of short legs. The fabric is also great; good stretch and durability. The liner is also pretty good. It hits just below the fullest part of the thigh and just below my belly button, which works for me. I wish they were just a tad higher waisted when I put them on... But once I'm on the bike I don't notice them at all. I am 5'4'' and 135lbs and got a small. *one weird thing* there is a pocket inside the pocket on the right thigh, so every time I put my phone in it catches on it. I've been debating just cutting it out. I think that if you wanted to put a card there it'd be perfect... but I'd prefer if it weren't there.

Best Shorts So Far

I've put it through the wringer

I ordered an XS (weight: ~112, height: 5'5), and both the liner and short were true to size. These shorts have a lot of stretch to them, but not so much that they become a different size altogether by the end of the ride. Just enough to allow for freedom of movement. The liner itself is very comfortable, better than a lot of the liners that typically come in liner+short combos. The short is also comfortable and appealing enough to wear off the trail. One thing I will mention, however: sweat does bleed through these shorts. I bought the grey color and the sweat marks did make for an, um, awkward walk back to the car... Otherwise, happy with these shorts!

On and Off the Bike

Both the short and the liner fit perfectly (I weight 134 and am 5'4" ordered Size M). They are super comfortable on and off the bike. I particularly like that the shorts taper slightly toward the knees so no catching them on the seat and still able to peddle without restriction. Awesome shorts!

I love these shorts! They fit great and come in so many pretty colors. All of the pockets are super useful, especially for long stages races and rides. They are a great length and do not ride up like some baggies do. They cover whatever liner or bibs you choose to wear underneath well.

Look no further

I've put it through the wringer

These are the best biking shorts on the market! They are super comfy in all riding conditions! They breath well and are the perfect amount of baggie. My favorite features are the adjustable waist band and the many many pockets! I can keep my phone and some snacks stashed in them without feeling loaded down.
