Impact Liner Short

Swappable with other liners as part of ZOIC's Interchangeable Padded Liners (IPL) system, the ZOIC Women's Impact Liner is designed specifically for women, and more specifically, for women who push their limits but want to stay protected.

The Impact Liner features padding at the hip and an anatomically contoured women's-specific ZO-Tech chamois. This insert was treated with ZO-Wick moisture management to ensure comfort and dryness on the mountain bike. Multi-level ergonomic foam enhances long-ride comfort, and the six-panel design doesn't have a center front seam, in order to avoid irritation. The Impact Liner's spandex mesh fabric stretches for freedom of movement, while adding to the liner's ability to breathe and wick. Tagless labels eliminate itching and irritation, while gripper elastic on inside leg openings keeps the liner from migrating.

  • Padded liner shorts with chamois to add padding to any baggies
  • Breathable fabrics hold hip pads to lessen impact in tumbles
  • Zo-tech chamois rated for comfort on one to two hours rides
  • Zo-Wick treatment transports moisture from skin for evaporation
  • Compatible with any Interchangeable Padded Liners from ZOIC

I love this mtb short liner because it is breathable and lightweight, while still giving your hips the extra protection they need if you're bombing through corners a little less than under control. This is now my go-to chamois for enduro and downhill riding. It has saved my hips from severe bruises numerous times. I purchased a size large, as I typically wear size 30 pants. They fit me perfectly.

I certainly don't wear these to make a fashion statement, but they fit comfortable under a pair of shorts to wear on recreational mountain bike rides. Does the job in providing extra padding on a hard seat! Didn't have any issues with fit and didn't find that the elastic digs in anywhere. Recommend them for recreational, short mountain bike rides for sure.

i don't mind 'em

The fit of these isn't my favorite (the band around the legs is tight and unflattering.. and they sit a little lower than I'd prefer on my waist) but in terms of function I think they actually work pretty well. I wear these mostly on DH-oriented rides so I haven't spent a TON of time in the saddle with them, but I think the chamois provides enough padding to be comfortable on more pedal-y rides. The padded sections on the hips work well - I've landed on my hips wearing them and it definitely feels like they absorb a good amount of the impact. Just wish the padding went further down the sides! Quality-wise, I've found that these are constructed well and I've washed them without any issues. The biggest takeaway from my time wearing these is that I wish I could've sized up because I think they do run a bit small.

I found these run 1 size small. However, I feel like they protect in all the right places. I had a bad fall on a downhill, and my hips and lower back were protected by the padding.

Chamois is very thin and wide, doesn't feel comfortable. Cheap made and not adequate for the price.

Don't waste your money

These shorts run a bit small. The legs are short and creep up while riding. The chamois is not comfortable. It rubbed me the wrong way. The side padding is small and it would not be very protective in a fall on a rocky trail. The shorts are expensive and not worth the money.
