SB165 Turq T4 XX1 AXS Mountain Bike

For the trail less traveled and the line that some others wouldn't even call a line, the Yeti SB165 is here to shred. The SB165 is Yeti's longest travel bike, an absolute ripper on chunky and steep terrain, and is one of our favorite bikes for sending it at the bike park or our local downhill trails. With 165mm of coil shock-equipped Switch Infinity suspension and low-slung geometry, the SB165 erases mistakes and instills confidence on the most technical downhill sections. The lightweight frame and Switch Infinity suspension pair together with the steep 77-degree seat tube angle to give us a forward-biased pedaling position and a super efficient climbing enduro bike. Make no mistake, although the SB165 will excel all over the mountain and on all types of trails, the SB165 is a downhill addict and has been seen on top of podiums at some of mountain biking's most well-known races and freeride contests. The slack 63.5-degree head tube and long wheelbase give us all the confidence we need for sending it on some of the most vertical trails, while the 27.5-inch wheels and the short chainstays across all sizes ensure whips, manuals, and popping off of jumps come easily. Yeti gave the SB165 a 27.5% progressivity curve, providing a super plush yet balanced ride with enhanced bottom-out resistance for sending those steep trails and drops without worry. The SB165 is dual crown compatible, so we can throw a downhill fork on for weekend trips down to the desert for massive freeride lines, and integrated downtube and chainstay protectors keep our paint job looking fresh.

The T4 XX1 AXS build of the Yeti SB165 is top-tier and outfitted with some of the best components on the market. To start out, the TURQ carbon fiber frame is the best Yeti offers and is made with premium materials for a super durable and stiff platform. Plus, the SB165 is downhill-tested for durability, and the frame holds a lifetime warranty for worry-free shredding. Next, the top-tier SRAM XX1 AXS drivetrain gives us smooth and precise electronic shifting and is outfitted with SRAM's very best components for the lightest weight and most performance. The Fox Factory 38, 180mm fork and the Factory DHX2 coil shock pair together to bring us some of the best big mountain performance out there. SRAM Code RSC 4-piston brakes ensure we can slow down on time before that hairpin turn, and the Race Face ARC wheels outfitted with premium Maxxis enduro tires and DT Swiss 350 hubs ensure quality performance and grip all over the mountain.
