SB150 X01 Eagle Exclusive Mountain Bike

Synonymous with podium-level performances on the enduro circuit, the Yeti SB150 is designed for all-out speed. So when we set out to create our own exclusive SB150 X01 build, we chose to spec components that allowed us to create a durable, high-speed race machine that wasn’t a bear to pedal to the top of the transfers. We started with a TURQ series carbon frame that strikes the perfect balance between torsional stiffness and flexibility, delivering a highly responsive ride. 150mm of Switch Infinity rear travel is supported by a Fox Factory Float X2 shock for impressive small bump sensitivity and massive amounts of rear wheel traction on everything from dusty descents to slick rooty climbs. The Switch Infinity rear linkage also decouples chain forces from the suspension when we’re lower in the bike’s travel to soak up big hits as efficiently as possible. A longer, slacker geometry features a 64.5-degree headtube angle, long reach, and short chainstays so that we can tackle the steepest, gnarliest sections on course with confidence and rail berms with style. When paired with the steep seat tube angle and short offset fork, these geometry features help us keep our front wheel on the ground and put more power through the pedals on the climbs.

Our exclusive Yeti SB150 X01 Eagle kit builds off the lightweight, high-performance shifting capabilities of the 12-speed SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain that provides a wide gear range so we can power up just about any grade while still having plenty of high-end gears to avoid spinning out when we accelerate off the start line. We chose the top-of-the-line Fox Factory 38 fork with the highly tunable GRIP2 damper for its plush, supportive travel and high torsional stability to keep us locked onto our line even in the gnarliest rock gardens. Code RSC brakes are paired to 20mm rotors for plenty of stopping power, while a set of 29-inch e*thirteen LG1 EN wheels keeps us rolling through high-tech terrain.
