Dual side opening!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So far so good on top of our Honda Odyssey. Lots of kids and a dog make for lots of gear. We got the 14 due to our large family and it's perfect! Super easy to install.

Great addition

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have roof racks for almost every activity. I needed a cargo box since the family is growing and it's nice to have extra space in the car instead of packing everything to the brim. Stores a lot of gear and can handle some board's/ski's depending on their length. I have this on an '04 Cherokee with yakima round bars and the Timberline tower on the factory runners. The set up is pretty easy to install and switch out to bike and my old board rack. I like that I can get into this on either side. I do notice that it is noisier with this on and probably lose some gas mileage, but it's worth having more space. Don't forget the locks!

Unanswered Question

Does anyone happen to know what an internal diagonal measurement would be in this? I was hoping it would fit a 159cm snowboard. I know that equals 62.5", which is 4.5 longer than the box is, but thats why I wanted to know diagonally...would a board fit in this.

Thank you in advance!

Can Carry more than you would think!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I kind of wish I had gotten the 14 but this is a pretty solid roof box. It closes securely and fits enough stuff. I have this on a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek with factory cross bars. It fit without any issues. It gives me enough room to keep the back seats clear during car camping/mountain biking trips.

Construction is quality.

Good morning from Western Australia !

I need to know the dimensions of the lower ie fixing base of the PRO12 please PLUS the height to the lower part of the lid from the mounting base . I am considering the unit's mounting on my vehicle & would be most appreciative if you could let me know ASAP if you can .

Thank you ,

Sincerely ,

Kerry Cook

Good for small roof tops

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this for a Honda Fit, to get a little extra space when roadtripping. The box fits a lot more than it looks like it would, and it is shorter than most of them which is good for the small roof size of the Fit. I almost got the 14, which would also have fit the roof, but would have extended further toward the front of the car. Either would work great, but I'm glad I went with the smaller one.

I'd like to know if you noticed any drop in gas/milage efficiency?
