Why We Like The Wolf Axle For RockShox Suspension Forks

Adding a little bling never hurt anyone, so we're installing the Wolf Axle For RockShox Suspension Forks onto our tried and trusted Rockshox fork. This fancy axle is lighter than the OEM Maxle Lite, and looks a lot cooler too. It's a fun little addition after making sure it matches our headset and seat clamp color.

better than stock replacement

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

not just for the matchy matchy people. I have the threads and the hex fitting on my original "MAXLE" gaul. the stock axle felt sticky and difficult to tighten. The Wolfs tooth replacement has what feels like a denser alloy. the captive washer seems to help with the clamping forces. its a boring part of your bikes spec. however, if you still have a quick release, get this replacement. if your lose or damage your stock axle, get this. I guess if you just have to have a colored axle... get this.
