Description

Upgrade your dropper function.

Wolf Tooth Components is on a mission to free us from finicky dropper levers with it ReMote lever for cable-actuated dropper posts. The ReMote uses a mammoth 21mm sealed bearing to facilitate silky smooth motion, which in turn gives riders exceptional control over modulation and general dropper function. The low profile lever sits close to the bar, making it easier to reach than many other systems and in turn reduces the amount of time your thumb is away from the handlebar grip. This means more control and confident handling, but if you do happen to crash, a breakaway axle pivot at the base of the lever is designed protect the body of the ReMote so all you'll need to replace is the small axle when things go south.

  • A remote upgrade for your cable-actuated dropper post
  • Low profile lever is easy to use
  • Large sealed bearing provides smooth modulation
  • Breakaway lever axle protects the ReMote's body
  • Integrated cable adjustment for on-the-fly tweaks
  • Machined lever surface improves grip

Great lever

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This or the pnw Loam lever are really the only two dropper lever upgrades I would consider and they feel pretty much the same. The Light action remote feels more like the Loam lever. I’d just pick whichever color matches your bike better or whichever interfaces into your brake levers better.

Stop debating just do it

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is such a great upgrade. It's a silly little part, but it's priced accordingly and for the money this makes a real difference in your day to day experience on your bike. Granted $70 is a respectable chunk of change and you have to be a commercially desensitized bike customer to think that's a "cheap" part... but hey, that's exactly what I am. You jam on that dropper lever constantly, so it makes sense to replace that sloppy poorly designed stock offering with this well thought out and sturdy replacement. I think the big difference is just that they use CNC'd aluminum allowing everything to be stiffer and more precise, so I wish that manufacturers could just take note and include similar levers from the factory. But for whatever reason they do not. Another nice perk I love is the ridges machined in to the lever for thumb grip. Very effective, weather proof, and long lasting solution. Just make sure you consult their chart regarding whether to purchase this regular lever, or the light action version that has a longer lever (chart posted below in these reviews). Neither is better/worse it's just about getting the best one for your dropper. I have the OneUp dropper so I got this regular one. I've used it on the KS post and also had great results.

Fantastic Fox Transfer Upgrade

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I destroyed my KS Lev removing it from my frame once I discovered that it was seized. So my LBS gave me a great deal on a Fox Transfer, but they couldn’t use the KS remote, so they installed a Fox 2x/3x. The cable slipped right away because the set screw designed to hold it is weak. Adjusting everything was awful. The bolt to clamp the lever to the frame was located behind a cable routing channel and barrel adjuster, making it necessary to remove the cable from the post to gain enough slack to move things out of the way. So after reading a lot of reviews, I ordered the Wolf Tooth. What a difference! It was easy to install, integrated with my Shimano XT BL8000 lever, and just worked better. The range of motion made fully opening the valve on the Fox easier, so the actuation is better and the post snaps up faster if I want it to (full push). The quality of the Wolf Tooth is dramatically better than the Fox too. Well worth the price.

True to form, Wolf tooth continues to make great products! Smooth and solid, easy to install, nice looking too. Been on my bike two months with no issues at all. Very happy with my Wolf Tooth lever.

Amazing Difference

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I used the stock lever that came on my KS dropper and it worked, but was clumsy. A buddy recommended the Wolf Tooth and once installed, it made a world of difference. I am not fumbling around trying to drop the post now.

That's great - helpful. How do I figure out which model to use with my Shimano XT BL-M8000 brakes?

ReMote IS-AB for Shimano works for some Hope Brakes. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0230/9291/files/Hope_TECH3-Shifter-Mounts1.pdf?8104761583760915810 No adjustability on lever position. I would just run the 22 clamp. The magura mount will not line up with hope tech 3 spacing

The Only Lever Option

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

40 reviews on the same product, none of which are below 4 stars should tell you all that you need to know. The Wolf Tooth levers are the best in the industry for smooth actuation, dependability, and durability. They can take any seat post and turn them into the most effortless version of itself since a company designs and tests it. 10/10 the only lever option I'll ever run.

Excellent quality and feel!

Easily installation and very well made. This lever beats any I’ve used by a mile. Sturdy, well built with a great feel and smooth operation.

Best dropper level period!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've used a few different levers and keep coming back to this one. Love the machined face of the thumb lever. Simple design and setup that is very reliable. Good stuff generally doesn't get the positive reviews they deserve, because we generally only write them when something is negative. Get this one and you'll be glad you did.

Excellent Lever

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

By far the best aftermarket lever if not the best lever period. It has a smooth action when pressed and is sturdy by design. Just this little upgrade will change the way you feel about your dropper post.

This is the best lever

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This thing is sweet, a must-do upgrade for your bike if able. Also if setting up a new build this is the lever to go with. MAKE SURE you get the right one, seriously, I have gone though some mix ups with these because not every one is compatible with certain bike builds based on the way the brakes are set up. Just call the bike department at Backcountry or go to a local shop with your bike to get the right fit.

Get this lever!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

If you have or are purchasing a cable actuated dropper post, this is the best lever on the market. Ergonomics are the best out there, as well as the constructions. It uses a high quality bearing wear many other companies don't have anything of the sort. It's really intuitive to use on the trail, and provides instant actuation no matter what dropper you're pairing it with. I don't have to think about where my dropper remote is, or shift my hand at all to operate it.

Best Upgrade

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This lever is hands down the best upgrade for your dropper post. Action feels great and it makes adjustments super easy. I have it paired with the new oneup components dropper and have no complaints.
