Why We Like The Chainring Bolts/Nuts for 1x
Your bicycle obsession is starting to worry your friends. Of course, these people who are worried about your "unhealthy" obsession are the same ones who you have to stop and help when they require a mid-ride repair. Take chainring bolts, for example. Your buddy’s stripped-out slot-style chainring nuts made it impossible to properly tighten his rings. Your Wolf Tooth Components 1X chainring bolts, on the other hand, have outlasted three cranksets, now, because of their two-sided Allen key design, which isn’t going to strip out. Ever.
- Durable chainring bolts secure chainrings to your crank spider
- 7000-series aluminum delivers reliable durability
- Works with any bolt that does not have threaded standoffs

Did the job
Replacing some chainring bolts on a chainring. These are good quality bolts and should last when you put your bike through the wringer.

Allen Key on Both sides - need I say...
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
the idea of having a chain ring bolt with an allen head on one side and an insane slot on the other is just dumb. These are kind of bonkers expensive, but they are the only chainring bolts I have seen that are not dumb. Pick up a set and throw your chainring bolt wrench out.

Add some bling to your 1x drivetrain to match that paintjob. Easy to install, Wolftooth Quality, fantastic fit and finish.

Holds my chain rings on
I'm building a SS 'townie' and needed these to secure my inner chain ring on the crank. Two sided allen key design is a plus as I don't have a chain ring nut wrench.

Expensive but high quality

I used these when I switched my triple chainring to a 1x setup. $25 is a bit steep for a five pack of bolts, but they are pretty awesome looking, and they're super rugged.

Nicely over priced.
These nuts and bolts are nice and have serveral color options to give your bike a good look. However, $25 dollars is outrageous for a 5 pack. Much cheaper options out there.

Bolt On
Use these either switching over to a 1X drivetrain or to just gussy up your rig. Clean, easy to install, and worked seamlessly with the Wolf Tooth chainring I installed with these bolts.

Nice Nutz!

These chainring nuts worked to fill the empty holes in my Zed2 crankset on my Look 695. The large chainring has 10 holes, the small ring uses only 5. While the five are enough, I did not like the look of the empty holes. [Normally used for compact rings.] A single depth nut is needed for this. These are well made and look nice.

Size Matters
Make sure your bolts are short enough if you're converting from a triple ring to a 1x front, if they're not, then these short bolts will instantly do the trick. As Statenheimer below states, they are a bit pricey for what they are, but hey, they come in a handful of colors! Sure, there are tab spacers out there, but those just look funky. Get these bolts, and you'll be happy.

High Quality

These are a nice, high quality part to add a bit of bling to our chainring. Color is nice and vibrant (I got green). Using on a SRAM 1x set-up with alloy bash ring, on an aggressive steel hardtail, so lots of chain movement and use of the bash guard on every ride. Bolts had plenty of length, were easy to tighten, and have stayed tight through several rides. Definitely recommended, even though they may be a little pricey.

Will these bolts be long enough to work with a sram 1x with sram carbon bash ring?

It fits my SRAM 1x with an alloy bash guard with plenty of length, so I think you would be fine.
