Wheels MfgPF30 to SRAM GXP Bottom Bracket + ABEC-3 Bearings
Item # WHL000D
Smooth spinning.
The Wheels Mfg PF30 to SRAM Bottom Bracket with ABEC-3 Bearings lets you use your favorite 24/22mm crankset with that new PF30 frame. Made with Enduro ABEC-3 bearings, high carbon chromium alloy races, and machined aluminum cups, this bottom bracket will keep the cranks turning smoothly mile after mile. A dual silicone seal blocks out particles for a longer overall life, and at a claimed 153g, it won't stack up needless weight.
The Wheels Mfg PF30 to SRAM Bottom Bracket with ABEC-3 Bearings is compatible with 24/22mm spindle cranksets such as SRAM and Truvativ without any adapters needed. It features an easy-to-install threaded design that addresses the creaking and bearing alignment issues we've all come to associate with PressFit bottom brackets.

This may be a silly question, but I figured I would ask... I have a BB30 bottom bracket and I want to use my GXP Quarq from my other bike. Is this possible? I am pretty sure PF30 and BB30 are the same right? Is this the correct product?

Solving All the problems
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Want to run a GXP crank in your PF30 frame without it creaking like a banshee and causing your friends to abandon you on rides? This is the solution. Threads into itself so it won't walk out of your frame and does a great job of staying silent. Pro tip, at least I think it is a good tip, instead of using Grease where the Frame touches the BB, use the Park Tools Green Press Fit retaining compound: Item # PAR005M

This is a much better option that using the other adapters that Wheels MFG offers if you are trying to mix and match your crank and BB. Also, it will help rid of the noisy tendencies of a Press Fit BB.

Are you looking to run a GXP crankset on your PF30 frameset? This definitely has to be one of the best ways to go. There are cheaper ways to do is but you run the risk of creaking. Put one of these in my Niner RLT Steel frame for my GXP crankset and went on without a hitch. If you have any questions about bottom bracket solutions for your frame and crankset please feel free to reach out to me and I will be more than happy to help you out.

No Creaks
Do you like creaky bottom brackets? I don't. That's why I got this bottom bracket. Wheels MFG has figured it out with PF30-SRAM/GXP conversions. Solid bearings and serviceability. This BB isn't my first experience with Wheels MFG... I know for a fact they have awesome and responsive customer service.

Creaky bottom bracket no more

While PF30 is stiffer, it can also be prone to creaking and making more noise than it should. If you are running a SRAM or Quarq crank with a GXP spindle, this is an awesome option that threads together to remove noise. Bearings are good quality and seem to last a long time as well.

Stopped the creaking!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is a great solution for Shimano or Sram GXP to be used with PF30 bottom brackets. The threaded design helps to eliminate the creaking that is usually associated with press fit bottom brackets. So far the bearings are smooth and hopefully stay so in the future.

Looks good.
While I didn't get to use this BB on my bike, I did get to hold it and marvel at the majesty that is this bottom bracket. This is a great solution if you want to avoid creaking in your bike, and run a crank that may not have been a possibility before.

BB30 and pf30 are going to have two different shell diameters the bb30 is 42mm and pf30 is 46mm. If you are looking to do a bb30 wheels does make an adapter that will get the gxp to work with the bb
