PF30 Adapter For Shimano

Wheels Manufacturing is always on the front of the tide when new standards roll through the bike industry, and Pressfit30 surely didn’t surprise them too much. This PF30 Adapter for Shimano works just like their BB30 adapters to help you make the conversion from BB30 bearings to the Shimano 24mm crank spindle. The difference between the two adapter sets is that these use a slightly different shape on the inboard side to provide clearance for the resin cups used on the PF30 bottom bracket assembly.

The PF30 Adapter consists of two reducer sleeves turned down from solid blocks of Delrin. These adapters utilize a press fit into the PF30 bottom bracket and, once in place, allow you to slide the Shimano crank spindle through just as you would in a standard Shimano bottom bracket assembly. The Delrin supports the spindle perfectly and the resulting performance is exactly what you'd expect from your Shimano cranks -- no wiggles and no creaks.

The PF30 Adapter for Shimano is compatible with all Shimano and Shimano compatible cranks designed for external bearing cups and having a 24mm spindle.

These work awesome and don't break the bank retro fitting shimano cranks to a PF30. Be advised the BB30 and PF30 adapters are ever-so-slightly different and won't perfectly sync up to the BB if you purchase the incorrect one. Make sure to double check that BB!

A lot of complaints I see with adapters are for squeaks and creaks. The wheels mfg pf30 adapters have worked great for me on two different pf30 frames, running a Shimano Dura Ace Crank and no noises to speak of. Quick and easy to install, inexpensive and a high quality product. Will try to update later on overall durability, but all signs look good!
