Ever-Reliable Quailty

I've put it through the wringer

Good old Wheels Manufacturing. This is the fourth WM bottom bracket I have installed in different bikes: two carbon-framed; one steel; one titanium. This is on a Ridley Fenix SL that I will be riding in the winters, over rough terrain. It’s sealed well, despite the price, rolls smoothly with not a hint of ticking/creaking, and installs easily. I prefer their models that have the two cups thread together; they are a pure engineering marvel. But this one comes close. I expect many miles of carefree travel on this, as with the others. Definitely recommended.

Would this be an upgrade from shimano dura Ace?

Gustavo, I would consider it to be more of a comparable bottom bracket, but not necessarily an upgrade. I would look at the Chris King PressFit 24 for a true upgrade.

I opted for this BB over a standard Shimano or Sram once I tried one on another bike. It feels like it's way higher quality than the plastic BB's that Shimano or Sram offer. I can't comment on the durability in the field, but just looking at the material used I know this will install easier, creak less, and provide a longer service life.

Smooth and fast

These bearings roll so fast. a great improvement from the cheap shimano bb's.
