Why We Like The BB30 to Shimano Bottom Bracket + ABEC-3 Bearings

The Wheels Manufacturing BB30 to Shimano Bottom Bracket is what we install when we’ve got a smooth Shimano 24mm crank to affix to a BB30 bottom bracket. This master-crafted bottom-bracket uses high-quality ABEC-3 bearings, that with proper care, last a lifetime on our bikes. Thankfully this is a ‘thread together’ bottom bracket, meaning creaking bearings of the past are a non-issue once this is installed.

  • We're bringing our own cranks to the BB30 party
  • Works with our Shimano crankset's 24mm spindle
  • Eliminates creaking and lengthens bearing life
  • Quick bearing replacement for convenience

BB good, Bearings not so much.

I've used it several times

Bottom bracket works/fits/installed great but bearings seized up after a couple of wet rides. Replacing bearings now with ceramic. Just know if you live in wet conditions these blue bearings will seize on you.

A Must Need When Converting

I've put it through the wringer

These cups may not have the best bearings on the market, but if you are tired of a creaky press-fit bottom bracket adapter you need this.

Wheels Mfg = quality

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This company makes quality bits....replacing the OEM Praxis BB with this one. I think I'll be pleasantly surprised with the performance.

so far so good!

I've put it through the wringer

This BB allowed me to use the components i wanted with bike. So far everything is smooth and seems perfect. Extremely easy to install as well.

did you need to press install the driveside? mine went in by hand which seemed odd

Smooth Is Fast

I've put it through the wringer

A mentor once told me, "smooth is fast, fast is smooth." I really like how this screws together to produce a great conversion for BB30. Let me know if you have more questions at dbishop@competitivecyclist.com or (801) 204-4696

Dan, does this BB works with a Cannondale CAAD10 frameset? Thank you
