let me start by stating that I live in Southern California and hardly ever deal with having to ride in poor conditions (occasional light rain). I previously used a premium brand hydrodynamic lube for all weather conditions, which worked great but left my drivetrain a mess every week. Now having switched to Wend wax, my bike stays clean through many weeks as the wax prevents any grimy build up. I personally enjoy the meticulous detail of de-waxing the chain and re-waxing. it does take a little more time than just wiping down the chain with a rag and re-lubing, but the attention to detail is worth it. Also the red (pink) wax matches my s-works shoes making me look pro af
