Why We Like The Wahoo KICKR SNAP 142mm x 12mm Adapter
If the weather isn't looking favorable or the lack of daylight has us doing a workout inside, we get our Wahoo KICKR SNAP trainer and thru-axle bike ready for the pain cave with the KICKR SNAP 142mm x 12mm Adapter. The kit comes with three M12 axles in coarse (1.75), medium (1.5), and fine (1.0) thread pitches. We simply match and replace the existing axle with one of the three provided and replace the end cap on the Snap with the new included cap and we're good to go.

Very easy install and mounting
Very easy install and mounting to trainer. Would be nice if they were sold separately to reduce waste. I only have the one bike to use it with.

Must have for 12x142 thru Axle bikes
This was a needed upgrade for my bike. With the 12x142 thru Axle riding on a kickr snap or any other stationary mount is way less than optimal. Once I found the right threaded adapter of the 3 it went right in. I leave it in even when out on the road. The instructions were on point with what to do. It fits my frame perfectly which allows for quick mounting on the snap.

Adapter worked well. My only
Adapter worked well. My only issue is that as a less than mechanical person. I had a hard time identifying the thread that best matched my existing thru axle. Since Shimano , Sram And Campagnolo components are so common maybe they could mark the axles with suggested matches. I don’t know if that’s possible ? Just a suggestion.

This kits makes the conversion
This kits makes the conversion from quick release to thru axle trivial. Took me maybe 10 minutes total to mount the new bike securely

I bought a used Snap
I bought a used Snap and found out I didn’t have all the parts to use it. Talked to Liam at Wahoo ( real live person support is available and is great ) and he recommended this product. Worked like a charm. Thanks Liam!

Does the job
Does the job. Easy to switch the adapter on the trainer if needed. Annoying that they send 3 different thread options if you know which one you need.

Wish I could buy just one
Works great, but I wish I could buy just one axle adapter instead of three. Seems like a waste of money and now I have two extra axles.
