Great indoor trainer
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this when I decided to get more serious about structured training. It’s been fantastic and training in ERG mode has been eye opening for me. The resistance is very smooth and pedaling feels very good, like riding on the road. The bike itself feels of high quality. I did replace the saddle right away as the one it comes with is not comfortable for me. The bike is relatively stable. It is heavy but it does rock slightly from side to side if you really start pushing. The rocking hasn’t proved to be an issue for me and overall I’m satisfied with the stability of the bike. You do need a level floor to put this on. Works well with my wahoo ELEMNT or the wahoo iPhone app. Need two people if you intend to take this up or down stairs.

Pros and Cons.....
- I've put it through the wringer
- True to size
If you are committed to indoor training and you are willing to invest a good deal of money, then this is the product for you. I really like the fact that it integrates almost seamlessly with third party apps like Zwift, Rouvy, Sufferfest, etc. and it makes your virtual experience amazing. There is a learning curve to getting used to how the product works (it took me a few weeks to dial in the fit, gearing, etc). Pros: - Software updates easily with the app (i love being able to customize my gearing through the app) - Integrates and connects to third party apps very easily - Relatively quiet (don't be fooled though, it's not "virtually silent") - about as loud as a microwave but it can get loud at certain speeds/cadences - Makes for a very immersive and realistic ride - ERG mode works well and is forgiving if you fall behind Cons: - Expensive - Saddle and handlebars uncomfortable (disappointing for the price) - you can switch out parts (i had to switch out saddle and stem to get the right fit) but would expect more for the price; my much cheaper spin bikes fit better out of the box - Noise at certain speeds - Some riders may find that their inner thighs rub on the frame - Less stable than my other indoor bikes - will get rocking a little bit when standing/sprinting (I'm a small 125 pounds)

Agreed, there is kind of a high pitched humming noise at certain cadences, but still reasonably quiet. Agreed about the handlebars; it leaves the impression that you're getting ripped off. Same goes for the saddle. Hopefully new tape will help the handlebars a little. They are the cheapest plastic imaginable. On the other hand, the riding experience is surprisingly realistic including tilting features and shifting. it is seamless with Zwift. It's a true pleasure to ride actually. A floor mat and an industrial quality floor fan are helpful. It has been revelatory to learn some basic performance parameters including FTP, W/kg and HR and know where you're at. In summary, $3500 should mean something above the cheapest possible handlebars and saddle. Still, it is super, super fun to ride it on Zwift and the training programs are extensive and effective. Really excited about it overall.

Saving my sanity
Ordered this Friday (great customer service by the way) and it arrived yesterday (Wednesday). Pretty much dropped everything to set it up (which was a breeze) and hopped on this morning for a ride. Connected to Zwift so easily and the fit is perfect. Absolutely replicates my position on my bike which is in Colorado while I wait out this pandemic in Florida (here for work and stuck with no bike and my gym is closed). Had to walk my wife through the process of taking the photo of the bike and dropping pins to get the measurements but it was super easy. Shifting is smooth, changing elevation is so subtle and fun that it brings the total ride inside. Also very quiet. Steep price but in my book so worth it.
