No issues once it was set.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Used for road riding. Initially a bit finicky, and would not work unless contact were in ideal position. Adjusted sensors and it works great. Have not had any issues since then, but I can see how it's possible if the sensor attachments, or sensors themselves move. So far, so good.
