Great Price for a Lightweight Flat
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are super bomber and grippy! Combine these with some 5.10 rubber and you may as well be clipped in. For the price, you really can't beat these.
Great Flats
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
If you are riding flats these are great pair to own and use. Really like the grips on these.
Nice Intro Level Platform
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Love the location of the spikes on these platforms, but after riding flats for a few months and progressing with my comfort and skill, I wanted a wider platform. I opted for some VP Harrier platforms which suited my riding style better.
Solid platforms.

Nice and grippy! I bought these for my road bike and couldn't be happier. They definitely stick to my shoe!
Grippy & Stable

Are they the best? No. Are they the worst? No. Do they get the job done with out costing a fortune and still weigh less than others at a higher price point? Yes. If you want affordable performance these guys are great. Plus they come in some pretty cool colors to match your kit.
great option for the cost

I am coming off of a pair of Deity pedals that glued my foot down and these do not grip as hard. I think that at times its nice to be bale to move your foot around so i am sure they will be great after getting use to. If you are looking for a solid, metal pedal that wont break your bank... this is your guy.
Good price and good grip
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These pedals are exactly what I was looking for. A good grip and a stiff pedal. You can for sure find more aggressive pedals out there. These are a good basic in between. let me know if you have any questions.
Sticks like glue
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Great pedals that stick like glue when used with the right shoes. They aren't as large as some I've used but are a good size and definitely large enough for your feet to stay on them. I've hit a lot of rocks with them and they've held up with no problem.
Awesome Pedals
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These pedals are awesome for the price. They have tons of grip and are super stiff.
Beauty Meets Performance - Top Quality!!

VP Components has produced a reliable, smooth spinning option with plenty of grip and a reasonable weight with the VP-001 Pedal. Awesome pedals at a great price!!!
They're OK
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Cool looking pedal but Not as grippy as my previous Deity's. Running them with 5.10 impact low's my feet seem to really bounce off the pedals a bunch. I think the pins need to be longer. I've only had 3 days on them so far. We'll see but I may go back to my Deity's..
Bomber and beautiful!
Have been riding Deity's for years but wanted to give these a go. Awesome grip and a somewhat thin profile. Pins are tough after a few days of use they look and function as new!
Bright and lightweight
These pedals have nubs that can be screwed in further for less grip or unscrewed more for more grip depending on your shoe sole. Great pedals
Grippy
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Solid Pedals, have held up to rock strikes and other general abuse really well and my foot absolutely sticks to them like glue. Perfect for an average / intermediate rider.
Decent flat pedal for the money
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is a great basic flat metal pedal for a good value. The construction is average, I would say, not terribly nice, but not junk either. The material is actually a cast aluminum. The only machining done on the pedal is cosmetic. Make sure to tighten up the inner nuts before use - remove the outer nuts, in order to gain access to the inners. One of mine fell out, but I just switched it out for one of the seemingly useless outer nuts. These pedals hold up to abuse, and the studs are super-grippy.
light and durable
These pedals are great! They have adjustable pins which is super convenient and easy to move around. The pedals are light and have held up great with the hard riding i've done on them.
Everything I need
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Great grip, not too heavy, and it comes in all sorts of colors.
The adjustable pins are super helpful as well.
Best of the best
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are a great pair of flats for the price. They are exactly what you would expect as they are durable, lightweight, and good looking. The pins grip perfectly to the bottom you your shoe. These have a nice slim profile as well. Bottom line these pedals are the bomb, get em
Nice pedals
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
These are awesome pedals. Bought them for the lady and she loves them because the pins provide awesome traction, they're light, and easy on the eyes!
are these clip pedals?
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I'm kidding, but seriously I get amazing grip with these pedals. I have been debating on clip pedals for my mountain bike, but these are a great alternative with great grip and no clips. Just make sure you are wearing flat shoes.
