We're going to let you in on a little secret: Just like us, the professional riders of the world often train on clincher tires. And here you probably thought those boys only rolled on the most exquisite tubulars for all of their riding. Pros use clinchers for the same reasons we do—changing flats is less of an ordeal and durable rubber takes precedence over weight when you're logging big miles. Vittoria knows the importance of arming yourself with dependable tires, which is why it continues to provide riders of all levels with its respected Zaffiro line.

The Zaffiro Pro is a hard-wearing, reliable tire constructed out of Vittoria's Aramid Endura compound. It's built to roll fast, far, and without incident. The nylon Puncture Resistant Belt (PRB) found in Vittoria’s higher-tier rubber, like the Open Corsa and the Rubino, is also used here. It incorporates Vittoria's Aqua-Flow tread, with deeper grooves in the middle and shallower shoulders, meaning you'll get excellent cornering in both wet and dry conditions. And since it's a 60 TPI tire, the overall cost is reasonably low for the high quality you receive.
