Love these tir

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I am currently using these on both front and rear. Replaced the Mais Minion/Magic Mary combo I had been riding through the winter. So far, they have met my expectations for less rolling resistance and great grip on dry/rooty trails along with puncture resistance through rock gardens.

What's with the red stripe

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I have not ridden these but as soon as they lose the red striping I'll be racing them as a front tire on my XC bike. I just had a look at them at the local bike shop and the tread pattern looks to be ideal in pretty much all conditions with particular emphasis on the side knobs. Low profile centers with good separation for shedding debris and mud and pronounced side knobs for aggressive cornering. I currently run Barzo and love them. Durable great all rounder which is what I believe these Syerra tires will be but&&I ain't in to the big red stripe.

Great Aggressive XC/Trail Tire!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
2.4in

I have been running these tires front and rear for several months and love them! They are super fast rolling and supportive in the corners. These tires definitely live up to the claim as a "downcountry" tire. I am currently running them on my 2022 Santa Cruz Chameleon and love them for all-around trail riding and XC racing! I will say these tires seem to be a little smaller than some 2.4in tires I have used in the past but they still ride great! I would highly recommend these tires to any rider that wants a faster rolling trail tire, or to any XC racer that still wants a light weight, fast rolling tire, but also wants more support in the corners!

More Aggressive than XC

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Disclaimer- For the past year I ran an Agarro/Mazza 2.6" combo on my Ripley. When I raced ran the Saguaro. I like Vittoria and have had good luck with their tires. To me Vittoria Tires seem to last much longer than Maxxis. I will usually only ride a tire until it gets to 50% of it's original tread depth and then recycle it. I have this Syerra mounted to an Element as a rear tire. It seems to grab better in all areas vs. the Recon it replaced. It is a fast tire for sure and holds an edge better than the Recon too. It weighs about the same and I feel it rolls every bit as well as the Recon. I will probably run an Agarro up front when they become available. It would be a pretty fast combo with enough bite for an aggressive XC/lite Trail bike. I hope this tire lasts for a while as it is 100 grams lighter than the other Vittoria tires I have used. The lighter Maxxis tires have sidewall issues at the most in-opportune times when I am far far away from the trailhead. I ride rocky trails, but not overly sharp rocks. Excited to try this tire out this season. I will update the review as the season progresses. I live in Northern Utah so not a ton of trails are open in my back yard right now since it is January.

Perfect tire

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have always been in love with Vittoria tires and now they have released this beauty. That stability in looser stuff but benefits of a great xc tire. I will be for sure purchasing more
