Corsa Control G2.0 Tubeless Tire

If your rides consist of more than just smooth pavement, transitioning from bike paths to byways and rough country roads, you'll enjoy the tubeless comfort and enhanced puncture resistance of the Corsa Control G2.0 Tubeless Tire. Like the Corsa and the Corsa Speed, the Corsa Control is part of Vittoria's Competition Race lineup, using a supple 320 TPI Corespun casing that smooths out chattery chip-seal roads and makes it a good candidate for racing. The difference is the addition of textured shoulder tread for improved grip on slick or loose surfaces, as well as increased puncture resistance thanks to thicker tread.

Using their own exclusive manufacturing techniques and machinery, Vittoria is able to use 4 different compounds in the Corsa Control G2.0's tread, which are infused with graphene to fill voids in the rubber molecules. This allows Vittoria to fine-tune the flex of the tread-base and tread-surface separately, placing the correct durometer Graphene 2.0 compound exactly where it's needed for maximum grip, rolling speed, cornering control, and wear life. Vittoria claims the new Graphene 2.0 formulation significantly reduces rolling resistance, while at the same time increasing abrasion-resistance, making this tire both faster and more resilient than previous iterations of their graphene-infused tires, which are already proven at the Grand Tour level.

My #1 Go-To Tire

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Tires. gotta have 'em, unless you like riding a peloton. Unfortunately, setting up road tubeless isn't always a walk in the park, and I constantly see folks giving all caps reviews with 1 star due to their own frustrations. Top that with everyone's bike setups are different, road conditions vary, along with general ride preferences, all this can be boiled down to.. an opinion. And ya know what they say about opinions.. so here's my opinion take it or leave it. I absolutely love these tires. hands down. I view these as a "set it and forget it" daily rider tire. and I wouldn't mind racing on these whatsoever. Key points: - amazing, plush ride feel on all aspects of road quality, I'm riding on the west coast, and snow takes a toll on our roads. - superb traction. I'll ride these on mellow hardpack dirt all day. and have ridden these on rocky gravel garbage too. zero punctures. - these are fast rolling. you get everything you want out of a tire ideally. yeah I'm sure there are lighter options. when rocking tubeless, I don't want super-light, flexy cotton tires. I want something that I can roll and corner on with confidence. Thanks for reading, have a good ride.

Nearly 5k and counting

I put these on a new Factor Ostro Vam almost immediately. Nearly 5k miles later and I just rotated tires as the back tire was flattening out. Plan to go a little farther before getting new tires for long summer weeks. Love the traction with these tires. My confidence descending downhill in curves, even with damp conditions, are as high as it’s ever been.

Quality Problems

Familiarity:

I’ve ridden these tires about 2,000 miles. Happy with riding performance and flat resistance. Now tread is not coming off and bulging, much like a set of semi-truck tire retreads. Not confidence inspiring.
