I got this pack because it promised to be a bounceless carrier. And it almost is. First the good: you can carry a 1.5 liter hydration pack with pockets for your cell phone/keys, and a place for a jacket. I ran an eighteen mile route with it and it performed better than any other hydration system I've tried. It even has a built in whistle, just in case. The not so good: there are a lot of useless dangly hooks and cords that rattle, so you have to tie them down (try nylon ties) or cut them. There aren't any stabilization straps for the reservoir, so as you empty it, it moves more. The pockets are small too. I have no idea how you would carry an extra water bottle in any of them. The part to be careful of is that it is sized small. I wear a medium shirt but the medium size pack I bought would better fit a large child. At 150 pounds, I have the chest strap fully extended and it just fits. (I used an Osprey 1.5 L reservoir, which was a tight fit. But in this case tight is good.)
