What is the size (diameter) and thread pattern of the bolts required to mount it to a bench?

Works alright, you get what you pay for
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Works fine, for the person building a set of wheels for the first time, this is probably not the stand for you. Does not have enough adjustability and precision to really dial in trueness and roundness. Great stand for a smaller home shop and doing minor truing jobs and spoke replacements, but if you are building wheels it left more to be desired.

Okay Considering the price.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I was able to true my wheels and rotor pretty easily with this stand. My roommate also built a wheel with it. It just lacks some of the adjustability and precision of more expensive stands, but with a little patience still gets the job done.

Upon review, and testing every bolt with a remotely similar diameter, the answer is a metric 8mm...(course thread?) as typically available at Home Depot. The part number of bolts I'm using is 3105. This was not easily evident at first, as the female threads on the stand had some powder-coating overspray causing difficulties on the one side.
