Have the freshest bushings on the trail.
Believe it or not, depending on how often you hit the trails and the conditions you face while riding them, your shock's DU bushings might need to be replaced up to 2 or 3 times per season. If you feel any vertical play when lifting the wheels off the ground, can't get rid of a mysterious creak, or just want to ensure that your suspension is operating at its best, fresh DU bushings are a great first step. Add some proper tools to your shop like the Rear Shock Bushing Extractor Set from Unior and with a vice, you can quickly and easily remove the bushings without risking damage to the shock's eyelets.
The tool is a simple pusher and receiver combo with the drift being compatible with both 12 and 12.7mm bushings utalized by popular brands. Simply install the tool on either side of the eyelet and close the jaws of a bench vise, pushing the old bushing out of the shock and into the tool's receiver. Installing the new bushing doesn't require the tool, simply use the vise to press the DU into the open eyelet. The extractor kit comes in its own case and is certain to last for quite a while.
