Description

Increased hydration and lighter than ever.

The Ultimate Direction Women's Ultra Vesta Running Hydration Vest offers increased hydration capacity and roomier front storage, all while weighing less than its predecessor. This hydration vest fulfills the needs of female athletes crushing distance runs, ice climbs, and demanding hikes in the backcountry. Two fully collapsible Body Bottle 500s (17-ounces each) keep you hydrated during intense efforts. Plus, it easily accommodates a two-liter reservoir within its large front compartment for extra hydration capacity on the hottest days of the year. There's also a mesh pouch for partitioning wet gear and clothing from the rest of the pack.

Adjusting precisely to conform to your upper body, the side-adjustable shoulder straps and sliding rail sternum straps provide a fine-tuned fit when you're moving fast. Moisture-wicking material along the shoulder straps and back panel prevents perspiration build-up, which is especially important when you're pushing your physical limits in stifling weather. Other run-friendly features include drop-in pockets along the shoulder straps for easy-access to energy gels and trail snacks.

  • Accommodates two-liter reservoir (not included)
  • Includes two Body Bottle 500s (17-ounces each)
  • Adjustable, mesh-ventilated shoulder straps
  • Sliding rail sternum straps
  • Dual water bottle holsters
  • Zippered storage pocket

Love <3

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have the Adventure Vesta and I absolutely love it but most days I don't need that much space so I added the Ultra Vesta to my running arsenal. It is the perfect amount of space and just enough water. I love all the little pockets and awesome features. Ultimate Direction does an amazing job planning where pockets and zippers should be placed with runners in mind. My only complaint is that the bottles are located higher on this vest than the Adventure Vesta. I actually put the soft bottles in the back because I don't like them bouncing around and the placement. I have an Osprey 1.5L Hydraulic bladder and it fits perfectly in there. I haven't had any chaffing issues and I love how easy it is to adjust and customize to your chest.

A great hydration pack!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this hydration pack so far! I used to carry a handheld water bottle and I just wasn't able to carry all the water I wanted, especially when I was on the trail for long periods of time. Plus, having my hands free on technical trails is super nice. I tried on a bunch of different packs before I bought this one, and what I love about this pack is how low profile it feels while you're wearing it, despite the fact that it can hold just as much water as any of the others. The flasks it comes with work well with it, and it's nice that when you've finished your water they fold up super small. I like how versatile this pack is-- you can tailor it to short or long distance needs by the amount of calories and water you bring.

Best Pack!

this is so great to run with. stays in place, lightweight.
enough room to fit all necessary gear+
love the collapsible water bottles, they are a comfortable fit, stay in place when active, easy to hydrate from bite valve while moving. Love this Pack!! A must that i wouldn't be without.

Great Pack!

I used this hydration vest to train for my first trail marathon. It fit very comfortably during long runs (with minimal bouncing) and could be easily adjusted as the reservoir was depleted. The front pockets were great for storing a cellphone and gels. The front hydration bottles are also great for no-cup races. I highly recommend this pack!
