Expected more, but works
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Webbing snapped and removed itself 4 hours into a hundred mile race, only my 4th long run in this thing. So yep, everything fell out. Had to stop, rethread it and tie it at the break. Quite surprising considering my older UD vest still has the same webbing despite being over a decade old and all the zips being seized up ! So... be warned. Besides that, the pockets all feel a bit small. Annoyingly, have to unpack nearby pockets to get bottles in and vice versa. The fit is on the only real improvement, and a good one. No more neck rash.

Good pack, some details a little off
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought this pack as a larger option when I needed to haul changes of clothes or food for a day on top of water, and have for the most part liked it. The material has held up fairly well for how lightweight it is, and I think there is a good mix of zippered pockets for essentials and open pockets for snacks and other quick-access items. The pack has a tendency to move around a little bit and ride up in the front, but I have gone out on a 10-15 miler with no shirt on under and experienced minimal chafing which looking back was kind of a shocker. I also don't love how the chest bottles fit; the cinch is right at the level where the top of the bottle will flop around after a sip or two, and it bunches weird if you push it below the cinch. All in all this is a decent pack and I have trusted it to carry my essentials on some 24-hour pushes, but those little details can get kind of annoying on little rest and many miles.
