The next time you pack your tri bag the night before a race, opt for TYR's Special Ops 2.0 Transition Swim Goggles and avoid the guesswork of trying to plan out which pair of goggles will be best for the day's light conditions. The goggles' photochromic lenses respond to light, changing from clear to smoky grey depending on the amount of cloud cover while blocking out UVA/UVB rays from the sun whether it's obscured by clouds or glinting off the waves in front of you. Other thoughtful touches like an anti-fog coating and a sleek, one-piece design all work together to make this an incredibly versatile pair of goggles whether you log your laps in the pool, the open water, or both.

Great fit, great clarity.
Swam with these a few times now. No issues at all. Would buy again.
i was concern about the fit, b/c some times water could introduce inside the goggle and its very annoying, but they works pretty well in the pool i fairly recommended
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I use this lenses for my pool sessions (2 per week) and have used them on open waters, they work just like advertised, the light conditions don't matter, since it can adapt to it.
The adjustments can be a little bit tricky, since it's not like the common lenses, but once you get it, there's no need to be moving them at all, they feel great.
Finally, the lenses are wide, making it easy on the eyes, not pushing and making it feel great.
The hard outer casing makes the goggles easy to manipulate with the hands, while the soft inner feels nice on the face.
This type of seal that flares outward rather than form a tube is gentler on the face and leaves less of an impression, plus creates a good suction.
Has the adjustable straps that are difficult to use, but isn't a problem once you get it dialed. Haven't swam outside yet, so can't comment on the transition aspect, but the clear lenses are perfect for indoor swimming.
