Why We Like The Tubo Road Tube

Light, strong, and compact are all features we like in a road tube. The Tubo Road Tube scores high in all three categories, saving almost 70g of weight per wheel compared to a standard butyl tube and is 2x more resistant to punctures with double the strength. This versatile tire is available in 42mm and 60mm valve length options, fits 18mm to 28mm tires, and is compatible with both rim and disc brakes.

I have these on 3 bikes and as a spare for a gravel race bike that runs tubeless. I do a lot of big mountains and I like the low weight. Puncture far less than rubber. I live in an agricultural area and metal is everywhere. A downside is that a patch requires 30 minutes to cure. But the patches hold. Over 5 years and thousands of miles I've patched some 2 or 3 times and use as spares. No patch has ever failed.
