PressFit 30 to BSA adapter

While bottom bracket standards, driven by carbon fiber frame designs, have experienced a whirlwind of new sizes, the 68/73mm, English threaded bottom bracket continues to offer plenty of strength and reliability. The TruVativ PressFit 30 to BSA adapter lets you use those traditional cranks and bottom brackets in frames with Press Fit 30 shells.

Can I install Shimano road crankset with this?

not a fan

I've put it through the wringer

I installed the BSA adapter on my son's Air 9 Carbon. the drive side would not stay in place, even with repeated attempts to epoxy in place. Do yourself a favor and go with a Wheels MFG. adapter instead.

Cheap and Easy

This adapter is cheap and easy to install. No problems so far when installing it on my Air 9 RDO. Only have a couple rides but no creaking or other issues. Just make sure you really clean your bottom bracket before installing.

I had trouble with this item.

I've put it through the wringer

It was professionally installed yet every 2-3 weeks it would creak. Even though it was installed using a PF bb install took the two halves didn't line up and it crimped the plastic and didn't fit right/crimped. Save yourself the pain and get the Parlee adapter and BB

Best GXP/BSA External PF30 Adapter

I used this on a new bike I got with a PF30 type BB so I could keep using my GXP/BSA Cranks until I could afford some BB30 cranks. There are a few out there but this one is legit, composite material, works perfectly. In my photo you can see how it basically just sits/looks like a bb spacer. If you need to use spacers with your cranks just use them the same way you would on your regular BSA English threaded bbs shell.
