In the review it was stated that trp brakes are compatible with Shimano oil and pads. Which Shimano pads can be used for g-spec brakes?

Great Shimano Alternative
I've been a loyal Shimano brake follower for years. However, just this season I have had multiple problems with the Zee brakes on both my bikes. I was hesitant to use Sram because of past issues with their brakes. So the next contender was TRP. I figured if these brakes are good enough for Aaron Gwin then they should work for me. Things that I noticed about the TRP brakes are that the levers are very bulky compared to Shimano XT and Zee levers. Next is the stopping power, I've found Shimano brakes to be very "grabby". At least that's how I set mine up. With the TRP they aren't quite as "grabby" and have a slower, more consistent stop. Over time I have grown the like the larger levers and also prefer the stopping feel over Shimano brakes. I'll slowly replace any existing Shimano brakes I have with TRP. Another plus is that TRP brakes are compatible with Shimano pads and mineral oil.

Its true these brakes run on mineral oil and the TRP pads are the exact same shape as the shimano pads so you go either way.
