Perfect pressure.

Topeak's Pocket Shock DXG Fork & Shock Pump is compact enough to toss into your hydration pack for a ride, so you can keep your suspension dialed at all times on the trail. It features a 300psi gauge and a pressure tuning air-release button to ensure that your shocks stay pressurized wherever you go, and a unique double-barrel style Pressure Right head that uses an internal check valve to isolate the pump head, eliminating the chance for pressure to be lost when you're unthreading the head. It works by offering two threaded pieces, first a larger piece that threads onto your Schrader valve, then a secondary knurled Pressure Right control ring that compresses the valve pin and allows air flow to the fork or shock. Topeak crafts the pump from a durable aluminum barrel, designed to hold up to the rigors of trail use.

  • A compact pump for dialing your suspension
  • Pressure Right head secures snugly to Schrader valves
  • Double-knurled head system prevents air from sneaking out
  • Capable of achieving pressures as high as 300PSI
  • Compact design fits in jersey pocket or hydration bag

Finally a shock pump that works

I've used it several times
True to size

I need my rear shock to be at 200+ psi. The fox digital one feels like I am trying to jerk off a donkey and I still can’t get it up to pressure. The Topeak one actually works. I was able to get it up to pressure in 10 pumps or so. Very pleased. The gauge would be better if it was digital but that’s a minor quibble for me. If my shiz is within 5-10psi of ideal, that’s fine for me.

Meh pump...does the job

I've used it several times

Gauge is really hard to read, a 15 year old Fox pump with about the same physical size gauge is much easier to read. ToPeak made the little tick marks too large, so they all just mush together while trying to pump and read at the same time. Two stage chuck is just silly - simple design that Fox uses has always worked just fine. I wanted a new pump, hoping my old pump would fall into "backup" status. This ToPeak pump works fine, but is going to be the backup as it is inferior in every way.

It works

I've used it several times

I agree with the other review the pump does its job but doesn't give a lot of leverage. A friend of mine recommended looking at motocross shock pumps in the future.

Short hose and not alot of leverage

I've used it several times

I tried this shock pump out because I know Topeak makes quality stuff. Overall it works just fine but the stoke length on the pump itself is pretty short so you have to work pretty hard to air up a shock. The hose is also shorter than fox pumps and makes you hunch down super close and keep the pump stable.
