Does it work for a 29 in and 2.5 tires?

Good for Commuting
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The "quick" release strap took me more fiddling than it should to attach correctly to my seat post. Does the job and stays put while hoping off curbs and navigating the asphalt. Like the below reviews though, maybe wouldn't work too well in on a downhill track. Overall, a good purchase that keeps your backside dry.

Commuter Bikes are a Go
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
As stated in the other reviews, the fender is a solid one, but not if you are into heavy duty trail riding. I strapped this bad boy onto a commuter bike and it works very well for that. Overall, a solid piece of plastic that is easily attached and removed, but know that it won't hold up to a lot of heavy duty work.

Not for tough trail riding
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This fender is probably fine for easier trail riding, but if you are taking drops and jumps it isn't going to cut it. I cannot get it to stay in place. It moves after anything more than a light hit. The problem is that the attachment method is a nylon strap around the seat post. I am going to play with adding some gorilla tape to the seat post to see if that helps the strap hold. If not, its going in the trash. Update: I tried gorilla tape on the seat post, it didn't help. Don't buy this fender.

Gets the job done
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Have one on a 29er. Use it for a daily commute and weekend riding on a precip packed Ak island. fender comes with a three inch extension piece for the end which i needed for better coverage of the big tires. It does a pretty good job keeping the sludge off my butt and back- even on the muddiest and rainiest days.
